Hello. I am Jo Graham and I live in Dublin. I am very passionate about fashion, costume and illustration. I graduated in 2010 with a First Class BA Hons. Fashion Design from the University for the Creative Arts, and chose to specialise in menswear. I was selected to show my graduate menswear collection, named ‘The Anatomy of Melancholy’, at Graduate Fashion Week 2010. Since graduating I have interned with companies such as Jigsaw, Jaeger and Tim Soar, worked as a freelance illustrator and as a Graduate Teaching Assistant teaching Fashion Illustration.
I have excellent pattern cutting, machine stitching and hand stitching skills, and experience working with a wide variety of fabric types. I also have some experience in knitwear and print design and production. I have a strong working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign and the ability to create precise technical drawings by hand or using CAD. I love to illustrate and work mostly in pencil and watercolour, although I also enjoy working in oils and acrylics. My strength is portraiture.
